During our lessons we encourage kids and adult students to learn the essential guitar basics to benefit the most from their guitar lessons. Regardless of the direction they will choose after our beginner and intermediate courses.

Whether a student simply wants to be enjoying themselves with music or later wants to make it into a professional Conservatory of music, this basic guitar knowledge is recommended for anyone starting out in the genres Pop & Rock.
Guitar basics for beginners and intermediates:
- Open chords, power chords, bar chords
- Strumming, fingerpicking, using a pick and other right hand techniques
- Playing and understanding diverse rhythms and accents
- Essential harmony theory (basic chords, scales and intervals)
- Practical fretboard theory
- Sound
- Learn to improvise with scales, rhythm, chords and intervals
- Playing your favourite songs
- Songwriting
Optional additions:
- How to prepare for a music performance
- How to sing while you play guitar or accompany a vocalist

For advanced players:
When students have a real serious approach while they progress we can consider topics like:
- Learning to read and write sheet music
- Interval training
- More complex harmonies and scales used in Jazz music
- Developing speed on the guitar
- Musicians mindset
- Learning more advanced songs, genres, theories and techniques
- Getting connected with music producers
